  I like the fact we were upgraded to an ocean view room. The staff were all very nice. I have stayed at the hotel before and enjoy the convenience of the location and the view.

  The staff were friendly helpful. The bed was comfortable and the chairs in the room too! There is a nice walk outside the hotel that is on the water.

  We were disturbed twice first thing in the morning by the maid service and the mini bar refill service. It seemed everything was for sale in the room. They had a full basket of food, a full fridge of goodies and even a water bottle on the bathroom counter with a dollar sign attached. I felt uncomfortable with this much marketing staring at me.

  Location. Very good restaurant service.

  I don't like staying at a hotel and then being charged $16 to park my car - without any real option of parking elsewhere. And I don't consider parking somewhere on the street to be a real option.

  Excellent, very friendly staff. Large, comfortable rooms. Great location.

  According to the booking confirmation from Booked.net the hotel has free wifi - IT DOES NOT. Free internet is via ethernet/firewire in the rooms - which is fine if you have a laptop but not great if you have a smart phone.

  I liked the reception staff who were very friendly....was greeted by Victoria and she went out of her way to accommodate our requests...way to go. We also liked the Water front view, the pool, the bar and the Hotel's proximity to everywhere in town...Did like like having to pay extra for parking...but real state being a prime in Victoria, we understand. This hotel is about hospitality and location...truly enjoyed our stay there and will return

  We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff attentive but not intrusive. Food served in the restaurant and lounge was excellent at all times. We had a room on the seventh floor overlooking the harbor, a wonderful view and one we enjoyed both morning and night. We loved watching all the harbor activity including the arrival and departure of the Coho and the harbor water taxis darting about. We particularly enjoyed seeing the sea-planes circle past the window as they prepared to land. We understand we were in a recently updated room and the desk with all the electronic charging points was a wonderful addition. By and large it was a spectacular vacation because of having stayed at the Delta. It was easy to get around town and easy to get out into the beach areas.

  The couple of things we found lacking was a second easy chair in the room, another drawer or two for clothes, extra hangers on the back of the bathroom door and a small table to eat at if we wanted to order in room dining. I did think that parking in the underground parking should have been at no charge to anybody staying more than four or five days.

  It was in the inner harbour but away from all the noise and crowds. We could hear the music from the harbour when sitting outside. The walkway was nice as were the chairs by the water.

  Having to pay for parking . It should be included in the room fee. Seems like those with a room should get parking when staying. If just coming to eat or use the spa then parking fees would make sense.

  The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always eager to help. The hotel is within walking distance to many outstanding restaurants including the one in the hotel. My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon visiting Victoria for the first time and it was incredible! We couldn't have had a better time!
